BRAKE SYSTEMS
Complete brake inspections and repairs including shoes, drums, chambers, slack adjusters, air systems, and ABS diagnostics.

At Lexington Diesel, we provide complete heavy-duty brake system inspections for trucks and trailers. Our technicians inspect braking components for wear, damage, adjustment, air leaks, and other conditions that could affect stopping performance, reliability, or vehicle safety.
We replace worn brake shoes, pads, drums, and rotors on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. During service, related components are inspected to identify uneven wear, heat damage, cracking, contamination, or other problems that could lead to premature brake failure.
We diagnose and repair heavy-duty air brake systems including air leaks, brake chambers, air lines, fittings, valves, air tanks, compressors, governors, and related components. We trace air system problems to determine the actual source of pressure loss or improper brake operation.
ABS warning light on? We use professional diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot heavy-duty truck and trailer ABS systems. We diagnose wheel-speed sensors, tone rings, wiring, connectors, ABS modules, modulators, power and ground circuits, and communication faults.
Proper brake operation depends on more than just the shoes and drums. We inspect and replace worn S-cams, S-cam bushings, slack adjusters, rollers, hardware, and related foundation brake components to restore proper brake operation and adjustment.
We inspect and replace service chambers, spring brake chambers, air hoses, fittings, valves, and other air brake components. Air leaks and damaged components are repaired properly to help maintain reliable system pressure and braking performance.
Our shop services braking systems on both heavy-duty trucks and commercial trailers. Whether you have one wheel with a brake problem or need a complete brake job across multiple axles, we have the equipment and capability to handle the repair.
We diagnose uneven braking, pulling, dragging brakes, excessive stopping distance, abnormal brake wear, overheating, and other braking concerns. Our technicians inspect the complete system to determine what's causing the problem rather than simply replacing the most obvious component.
Your braking system is one of the most important safety systems on your truck or trailer. At Lexington Diesel, we don't believe in cutting corners when it comes to brake repairs.
From routine brake shoe and drum replacement to complete foundation brake repairs, air system diagnostics, ABS faults, S-cams, bushings, slack adjusters, chambers, valves, and trailer brake systems, we can handle the entire job.
Our goal is to make sure your braking system is safe, properly adjusted, reliable, and ready for the road.
